The Desert Bedding is an earth mixture specially developed for desert and savannaha terrariums.
In nature there are only a few animals that really live in the sand, most even avoid this. Desert Bedding mimics the soil in dry areas and has a high clay content which makes it possible for animals to dig burrows. Deeper in the substrate, humidity can rise considerably, which is important for desert reptiles, such as Uromastyx, as they can absorb moisture through their skin.
