Solar Raptor UV radiator 80 watts (no starter needed)

The Solar Raptor Mercury Vapor Lamp uses the latest technologies and is therefore able to deliver well-dosed heat, light and UV without a ballast. It is ideal for beginners, but advanced users are also very satisfied with this. The Solar Raptor mercury vapor lamp is equipped with an E27 standard large screw-in fitting.

It is currently known that UVB values between 75mW/cm2 and 250mW/cm2 form a safe margin. The advice is therefore to mount the UV lamp in such a way that this value is available on the sun spot (basking spot). With this we advise to keep a minimum distance of 45 cm and as the lamp ages the distance can be shortened to 30 cm. One must take into account the amount of heat that is transferred by the lamp on the animal.
