The Exo Terra Reptile UVB150 has a very high UVB yield, comparable to the sunlight in desert areas. These places receive more direct sunlight, exposing desert reptiles to more UV radiation than any other reptile. The lamp is also suitable to provide sufficient UVB penetration in terrariums with fine ventilation mesh. Fine ventilation mesh can filter out up to 50% of UV rays.
